thomaso
When a layer, cropped by the Vector Crop Tool, becomes its opacity set to less than 100% then the displayed appearance does neither fit to the opacity value nor to an exported result. In both retail v408 & beta v442. v442 vector cop tool opacity & pdf.afpub Three screenshots: 1. Vector Crop Tool + Image 2. Exported PDF (v1.7 default) 3. Jeremy Bohn
I think this is the same as what I reported here. It turns out that when you export something that uses the vector crop tool, you get a different result.
thomaso
Oh, indeed – I even had forgotten my post there. [ why didn't you remind me before doing the test above, @Jeremy? ] By the way, I wonder why the Cropping Tool mask can get set its opacity different to 100% at all (and not the masked object only instead). And even if, then I would expect its transparency would affect the masking intensity – not the masked object inside – and would rather result in a look like this: Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
