Shivadas Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Hi, I have all three programs of Affinity installed, but only on Publisher (That I purchased through the serif store, not the app store like the other two) do I get the dynamic studio link... How can I make this work to jump eg. from designer to photo without having to start always from publisher? Is there a way I can transfer my App Store licenses to the Serif Store? Thanks! walt.farrell Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 StudioLink is a feature that is exclusive to Publisher, and is not available within the Photo or Designer applications. Within Photo and Designer you would use File > Edit in Designer or File > Edit in Photo for the nearest equivalent to StudioLink. Shivadas Posted August 10, 2019 Author Posted August 10, 2019 Ah, ok! That wasn't clear to me (yet). But the photo/designer functionality is identical (aside for the liquify/export/pixel personas)? Could it then be smarter for me to use Publisher as my main go-to app until I need specific functionality from Designer or Photo? Thanks for the quick reply Quote

I believe that Publisher's Designer Persona has all the functionality of the Designer Persona in the Designer application. However, Publisher's Photo Persona is incomplete, when compared with the Photo Persona in the Photo application. It does not support these options from the File menu: Nor, of course, does it support the full capabilities of development for raw images, if you wanted to place them in a document. Other than that, yes, I believe it is feasible to start in Publisher and work there unless you need a feature from Photo or Designer that is not supported via StudioLink.
