Zorro1 Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 (edited) Howdy. I'm very much beginner. Using Affinity on PC to restore an old photo. Was going fine, spent about 1.5hrs getting rid of specks etc. THEN, suddenly I hit a button and the whole pic gets overlaid with squares, as per picture below (original also below for comparison). And I cannot turn it off. I can still see the image underneath, just. The overlay stays even when I hit save and close the file and then re-open it. There must be some way to turn it off, but I've spent so much time fixing the photo before this happened that I cannot afford to lose it all. Could someone please help. Many thanks. IanSG Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 It looks like you've reduced the opacity of your image rather than overlaid it with something.
