kakachiex Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I’m setting up an sport mockup I export an stripe shape from designer, I want to place the stripe in the side of the pants the stripe is an smart object already the process is deform or use the mesh warp to adapt the stripe to the shape of the pants but the original shape keep intact inside the smart layer the problem is deform and mesh warp is destructive and rasterize the layer and I cannot Edit or add text any advice. kakachiex Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 Those two tools are the most important for mockup creation in conjunction with smart layers Quote
Paul Mudditt Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 To deform live why don’t you convert to curves then use the node tool to deform it? Also for such a simple stripe, you can create directly in photo as I did here. kakachiex Posted August 10, 2019 Author Posted August 10, 2019 Because it needs to be an smart object not a curve Quote
kakachiex Posted August 10, 2019 Author Posted August 10, 2019 Basic tools like deform and mesh warp have to be live not destructive Quote
