Document size limit ?

I would like to know if there is any size limit to documents ?

 

I am growing and growing and it's always as fast. It's crazy  B)

If it is zoom, I guess the limit is 1 000 000 % (one million percent).

For print 21.675m X 21.675m (meters) at 300 dpi

For screen 256000px X 256000px

 

This for the beta. Don't know if they will lift or limit those values for the retail version.

If we're talking about physical size, then it's just an arbitrary maximum number, and Miguel is exactly right that it's 256,000 pixels in width and height. We could choose a different number, but a 61 GigaPixel document sounds enough for now doesn't it? ;)

 

If you meant in terms of document complexity, we designed it to work well with real-world documents that have many hundreds of thousands/millions of objects. There's no reason why that couldn't be hundreds of millions of objects/nested documents to be honest, but it all depends on the structure of your document. You could provoke it to be unhappy, just like I could provoke anything to be unhappy if you find the right combination, but in the real world you should never see a problem - and if you do, then let me know and we can fix it because the architecture should stand up to it just fine! :)
