Use of Affinity to compile brain atlas

Recommended Posts

Hi,  I am a Master's student and my project involves taking MRI/CT images of the brain, converting these images to a line drawing ( a replica of the MRI/CT image) so I can label the different sections of the brain. I would like the drawing to also be in color.  These images will then be made into a teaching atlas.  Does anyone have experience with such a use of Affinity?  Thanks, Nicole

Hi nikkinancy,

Welcome to the forums.

You'll be able to use the Pen tool to trace your images, this will give you the outlines. Using the other tools you can then fill the areas with colour and insert text labels. Once it's complete you can then export to different formats such as SVG, PDF etc.

Hope this helps
