resize / scale element with rounded corners

Recommended Posts

Hi

I want to resize a rectangle with three rounded corners (made with corner tool). Unfortunately the radiuses of the corners are not scaled. See image: the nature of the form is lost when scaled.

How can I achieve to keep the proportions?

Thanks for any help.

Best

Alex

With the corner tool selected select Bake Corners, you can now scale the object and maintain the corners. Baking the corners removes edibility, so another alternative that maintains editable corners would be to use the rounded rectangle and deselect single corner, you can scale the object and it's corners and still edit the corners should you need to.

Check "Absolute sizes" in the context bar to maintain the radius of the corners.

This checkbox appears for the rounded rectangle object but I'm not seeing it for the corner radius tool, either during transform or if editing with the corner-radius tool.  Is it not possible to specify corner radius in units then have it scale with the object? e.g. corner radius 1mm on an object scaled 50% should result in the corner radius becoming 0.5mm.... if this isn't possible Affinity peeps, could you please make it so?
