I love Affinity Photo/Designer, but there is one behavior that frustrates me every single day. When I select a layer, then apply an adjustment, Affinity automatically changes the layer selection to the new adjustment layer. I then try to work with the image again, and nothing visible happens.  I then realize my layer is no longer selected, so I have to go manually select it again before I can continue. It gets me every time.

I've searched for some setting to turn off this automatic layer change, but haven't found anything. Is it possible?

When applying a layer adjustment, the adjustment layer has to be selected in order to apply the adjustment settings. Closing the Adjustment panel doesn't deselect the adjustment layer and select the image layer and there is no setting in preferences to do so.
