Layers list void

Following the tutorial "Blend modes" the tuto opens "layers" in the right column, and several choices appear : lighting,specular, refraction, reflection.....

On my program I do not get any choice, only the pixel layer

How can I reach the layers choice as in the tuto?

Hi @aggir and Welcome to the Forums,

In the tutorial James is working with a 3D render file that is split into those layers.  They are not something you create in Affinity.

I had the same question, where did those layers originate. Answering that question does not help me understand what the different blend modes offer for ordinary images, how you would use them to improve images. Or not?
