Hi working my way through the workbook for Windows Desktop affinity photo. Its hit and miss with retrieving suggest download files etc.. I KNOW you just have to type in the suggested file..but ive tried four times now to 'find' ilfracombe.jpg from page 192. Initially there's no indication on previous files you have actually linked and they download until you check your download arrow... but certainly NOT working at this point for the file ilfracombe.jpg

Why dont you put all workbook files into one ZIP file..would be a lot easier.

frustrating seaching for files to accompany the workbook when you spend valuable time 'searching' instead of learning

Hi MaritimeMike,

Welcome to the forums :)

This JPG file can be found in the Zip file named greyscale you should have downloaded on page 190.

Thanks

Wait until you get to the later chapters, like the "Elegance" one in the Commercial Projects section (by itself an over 1 GB download), & you will probably see why this is not done: the 'all in one' file would be massive, in part because Affinity format & JPEG files are already compressed so the zipped version would not be appreciably smaller (& might even be a bit larger due to overhead).

All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.5.5 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7

Thanks to those who responded.. once i got the greyscale link, and was successful, i then just changed the names of required tutorial files for each chapter/lesson/tutorials till the end one  Cologne.. and now have them all zipped and will unzip as i continue through the workbook.. Thanks to all .. and my method might be successfull for all who have the same problem finding required follow on files...Mike
