mydesygn
Hi, Is there a way to store or reuse Master Pages created for another document. I have a header and footer that I use for multiple documents and would like both the header master and footer master available to use for new documents instead of having to drag the images from assets each time and recreate both masters. jmwellborn
Why not create a new document with the master pages populated with the headers and footers, add one blank page to the document, then save it as “Template for Master Pages” (or something that you will remember). Then when you want to use it, open that file, do an immediate Save As, with your new document’s name, then proceed. That way, you will always have your template ready, and won’t have to do all of the work over again. mydesygn
Thanks - I thought about creating a template document. Seems like it would be nice to be able to have multiple master in the assets so you could pull whichever you fancied or change it on the fly. Wosven
Or, if you want to reuse elements from other master pages, you can open an old document and copy and paste the items from a master page to the master pages of this new document (if you only need part of them, for example). jmwellborn and dehskins
