IPad affinity photo LUT importing issue

Recommended Posts

I just tried exporting a .cube lut and can reload the lut. Can you load 'any' lut files? There have been problems for some people. As a workaround (and probably a better method) is to save your lut as a preset, rather than export. To apply it to a new image just select the Adjustments studio and change the top level menu from 'Adjustments' (tap it) and from the drop menu scroll till you see a LUTs. This menu gives you access to all your saved Presets.

Once you have finished adjusting your LUT settings in context menu, tap Add Preset and it will save within the app. You can then locate it on LUT menu and apply to other images.

Are you able to 'Load' any LUTs at all?

If you have a lut loaded and want to store it as a preset available in LUT menu, tap Add Preset in context menu.

Okay thanks that’s useful as I didn’t know how to create a preset either! Haha but I wouldn’t be able to do that either as my issue is that I can’t ‘load’ the LUTS I create. I tried the method u just suggested above to cut out this step in the process but after applying this created preset to another photo it had no visual effect. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it or if I’m making a mistake. All I’m trying to do is save a LUT which I can then load onto another photo as a preset. However although I can save a photos edited settings as a LUT, once saved I have no way of opening said LUT in another photo. It just appears greyed out like above^. Thanks again for the help.

Could you explain exactly 'how' you are creating the LUTs. Maybe then I can describe better  'how' to load them :)
