raheath Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 When scrolling either single pages vertically, or 2 page spreads, it is really annoying to to have the pages move sideways. It seems the "canvas", which the pages are on, is about three pages wide when scrolling single pages vertically. I can't find the control to have the pages scroll vertically with no horizontal movement. I use an iMac with bluetooth mouse and scroll by moving my finger on the surface of the top of the mouse. It doesn't seem to relate to page size, or page settings, just a movement where one is never certain where the page will end up. Quote

That control is placed at the right edge of your document window as a scroll bar. When using this for scrolling up/down there is no left/right page view movement. Its displayed width depends on your zoom level. When scrolling by manually moving with the cursor on page or canvas it is like using the hand tool or having the space bar pressed. That way you are in purpose able to move in all directions without any limitation or snapping.
