Hi guys,

I purchased affinity photos on Appstore 2weeks ago to edit my .raw file.

However, every time I edit my photo on the app, the speed of app is really low.

I'm usually handle with .raw files(20~30 MB).

I think if I edit with JPEG file on the app, It doesn't matter.

But there was nothing to do myself because of low speed. If I handle .raw files on the app.

when I select something on the picture, freezing always occurs in the app.

I'm using Pro third gen and 11 inchi, and ios12 version.

May I ask what is the problem?

I'm not sure which part is causing the problem.

Thanks!

Hi Pangsama, The current release of Affinity Photo has seen reports of significant problems for newer devices by some users. No one is sure when a fix will be released however there is a user beta program that allows access to a prerelease version that addresses many issues experienced by some but not all users. It may be worth trying as the current release is not as good as the beta. The beta also installs separately so you won't lose any work. Not what you probably wanted to hear.

I'm using the beta and have not noticed any real issues editing 20 mb raw images but I do have an older model pro. If you decide to give it a go you can register here.
