LastGrasp
Is there a way to extend the length of the space between the letters beyond what is provided in the options? Or do I have to manually insert spaces? In that screen shot I inserted a single space between each letter.
Staff Lee D Posted August 5, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2019 Not beyond the available options, even if you tap the slider, figures above the available ones can be entered but won't be applied when OK is tapped. You could try also adjusting the Kerning for each character which is under Text Positioning.

dkistner1111
I'm here to ask another question and have been reading through all the questions to see if it's already been answered. In the case the OP posted, the way I would handle this is to convert the type to curves, then space the individual objects (letters) using the alignment tools, then tweak if needed. Which leads to my question: On AD iPad, how do you convert type to curves? I do this very, very frequently, and that desktop Cmd-Return gets used a heck of a lot. Is there an equivalent for the iPad, preferably gesture-activated?
DM1
Select the text and tap in the Edit menu to find 'Convert to curves'. iuli and dkistner1111 2 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). dkistner1111
Ah, thank you, DM1. I called myself looking for it there but I must have missed it. It still would be very nice to have a gesture-based way to do this!
Martynkenneth
It can be done by adjusting the tracking. By selecting text then text positioning
