John Van Nest Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 (edited) Hi all, I have a basic request but can't seem to find IF or HOW I can do it in Aff Designer. For instance, I'm drawing a new garage layout. I want to use rulers, so I've chosen to View Rulers. I'm using each 1 inch on the ruler to represent 2 feet in real life. So far, so good. NOW, if I can set each 1 inch on the ruler to have, for instance 8 subdivisions, each one of those would represent 3" in real life. OR, if I can set each 1 inch on the ruler to have 12 subdivisions, each one of those would represent 2" in real life. CAN I SET HOW MANY SUBDIVISIONS APPEAR WITHIN 1 INCH ON THE RULER? If I'm able to do so, then I'd like my grid to simply correspond to those subdivisions on the ruler. CAN I DO THIS, TOO? I used to do this easily in some other programs but can't seem to find a "ruler attributes" window. Thanks so much if you have any info on this. John Edited August 3, 2019 by John Van Nest Quote
John Van Nest Posted August 3, 2019 Author Posted August 3, 2019 I think I have found a "workaround". I guess Aff D uses the Grid Manager and Snapping Manager to handle the things I'm trying to do? Quote
