I just bought a Mac and Affinity Photo to install in it. I use some shortcut. Command J for duplicate, etc. Everything works except Command for View like Command 0, Command 1, Command 8 don't work at all. But if I manually click the top browser for Zoom to fit...it does work. Please let me know how to solve it so that I can use the zoom shortcut.

Thanks,
Sally

If you click & hold on the View Menu > Zoom item, what does it show for the shortcuts next to the various zoom options?

The shortcuts next to the various zoom options are Command 0 =zoom to fit. Command 1 =100% ....so on and so forth. As I said, it works when I click View , then Zoom to fit on the top browser but when I press Command 0, it doesn't work. It makes a 'duh' sound. Next weird thing just now, My tools bar on the right just disappear without me touching it. And, I have to click back View > Show toolbar to get it back. Is Affinity Photo is unstable regularly or something wrong with what I install from the official link of Affinity Photo from my purchase email?

That sounds like the system beep, which suggests something else is mapped to ⌘1, ⌘2, & so on that can't be done in Affinity Photo. That does not seem likely but just to be sure open System Preferences > Keyboard to the Shortcuts tab & check each of the items on the left in turn to see if those shortcuts appear on any of the lists on the right. Alternately, if you are sure you have not changed any of the system defaults, click the "Restore Defaults" button in the System Preference to set them all back to factory settings.

If that does not help or you don't want to try that, as a diagnostic step only, open Affinity Photo > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts. Click the "Save" button to save the current application keyboard shortcuts to a file to some convenient location like the desktop. Then click the "Reset" button to return the shortcuts to the factory defaults & see if anything changes.

If the issue is resolved, it means something in the shortcuts you saved was at fault. If nothing changes, you can restore the saved shortcuts using the "Load" button & additional steps will be required to fix it.

I tried all that you suggested still not working. Somehow Command with any numbers don't give any shortcut. Just 'duh' sound.

And another problem is nothing pop out when I click right on the layer tab. I mean doesn't show anything at all which I expect like duplicate, etc

I already uninstall and reinstall once. And this is a brand new Mac.

Have you installed anything on it besides Affinity Photo? Any other Affinity apps, or mouse drivers, or whatever?
