Font lists showing the font technology

Recommended Posts

I tried to search if this has been suggested previously , but if not, I'd like to ask if there are any plans of including the font technology in font lists (also in font usage showing fonts embedded in graphics), similarly as in InDesign, QuarkXpress, CorelDRAW, etc.so that OpenType, TrueType and Adobe Type 1 (and system fonts, if listed) are marked with a symbol. Even if many designers use font managers to only keep a limited set of fonts installed, it is often useful to see right from the list the technology the font is based on (as that determines many other characteristics and also shows potential problems).
