wkoehn Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 OS: Windows 10 1903 Build 18362.267 Affinity Designer: 1.7.1.404 I've reinstalled Affinity Designer, rebooted multiple times, checked for OS and display driver updates and no luck. It gets to the small splash screen in the center of the screen but the application only appears in the task manager for split second then closes. Quote
wkoehn Posted July 31, 2019 Author Posted July 31, 2019 I have no idea if this is just coincidence or not but I turned off DisplayFusion (a screen splitting tool) and it opened fine. Now with DisplayFusion turned back on it is still working? Quote
Staff Lee D Posted August 1, 2019 Staff Posted August 1, 2019 Not come across DisplayFusion before, we are aware of an issue with another app that also causes an issue with the UI. Duet Display lets you use your phone or iPad as an external monitor. Quote
Manuma Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Okay, this post is really old, but I just wanted to let you know that I have the same problem with Affinity Photo 1.8.5. The program is not compatible with the splitscreen function of display fusion. You have to deactivate the splitscreen feature if you want to use Affinity Photo. Quote
Daniel Vaulot Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 (edited) Hi Just reporting the same issue... In fact I have to turn off DisplayFusion completely if it was started on a split monitor in order for Designer to work. Is there a simple change in the startup parameters that would allow DisplayFusion to work ? Interestingly if you start DisplayFusion after starting Designer, Affinity works including fitting to the divided screen.... PS: I was using Corel Draw before but decided to switch to Affinity, so much better (Corel was already so much batter than AI).... Edited December 13, 2020 by Daniel Vaulot Quote
