Rriver
Japanese text repeats after entering punctuation like "。" or "」" and finalize the input, if it is entered in combination with characters (Hiragana) without any conversions to Kanji or Katakana. Please see the screen capture movie attached for a reference. It looks like it is fixed in Affinity Photo Beta 1.7.2.147, so it will probably be fixed in future Publisher releases. But just in case it gets missed! Publisher Beta 1.7.2.422 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018) with Japanese keyboard macOS 10.14.6 I hope this helps! publisher-beta-7.1.2.422-bug.mov Stocker.jp and Tatsuru

Staff Jon P Posted August 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 2, 2019 @Rriver Do you mind confirming if you get the same behaviour in .442 Publisher Beta found here Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
Staff Jon P Posted August 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 2, 2019 Ignore the above, we've reproduced this in Publisher and it is because of Auto Corrects "Capitalise first letter of sentence", this is a bug that has been logged. However if you disable the above option it will allow you to workaround it for now. Thanks Stocker.jp 1 Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

Staff Jon P Posted August 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 2, 2019 We've just reproduced the bug in the second video and have also logged that, there is no workaround for that for now unfortunately, but it's now with the developers. Thanks to both of you for ensuring this got reported and producing the videos (with the keyboarding being shown!), it was very helpful and allowed us to quickly reproduce these issues.
