Hello,

I'm working on a document in Designer, where I want to combine two shapes. One is a filled circle out of Designer's toolbox. The other is a linkes svg-vector shape. First I put the svg-layer underneath the circle-layer and chose "erase" as blend mode -- but this resulted in a raster image.

Afterwards I tried to use the combine buttons (add, substract, overlap, ...) but all are grayed out. When I try to combine the circle to another Designer's shape everything works fine - but not with the linked document.

So my question: Is there a trick to combine those two elements? What can I do?

Thanks to everyone!

Jan

You can combine only regular curve layers.
so you can't combine embedded/linked document with a curve.

though you can copy a curve in the embedded svg to outside of the svg.
Then you should be able to combine it with another curve.
