Hi - I'm watching a Lynda.com tut (well done) & they used an overlay brush tool to make a selection & a red mask appears. I can't find it. Was it an older version of AP?  It's more like the layer mask I am used to in Capture 1.

For the newbies, the overlay brush is available in Develop Persona ... (Overlay Paint Tool)

is there a way to delete a post I make in the future?

I don’t think you can — and I don’t think you should be able to! — hide a thread if there are replies, but you can hide posts other than the original post via the ‘Options’ link at the bottom of a posted message. Clicking or tapping on that link provides access to the ‘Hide’ option, allowing you to hide the post from everyone except the moderators.

I'm missing something...

In the Overlay panel you can add multiple  brushes (at the bottom)

But it should be possible to apply different adjustments to the same brush overlay
