However, specifically for camera/lens support: The Serif Labs Raw Engine uses libraw for the raw processing, and lensfun for the lens information. When those products support the camera and lens then Affinity can support them, and Serif has no idea when that might happen. The Apple Raw Engine (available only on Mac and iPad) is similarly out of Serif's control.
