lbohen
When I open the same file in Photo and Publisher, although the RGB Hex color settings, #F90C08, are the same, the file in Publisher is enough of a different shade (lighter) that I can easily see. Why would the shades be different if the RGB Hex setting is the same in both?2019-Authors-Fest-Very-Large-Gathering-Craftsbury-Common-VT-8.17.2019.afphoto
Old Bruce
Move the layer called Shape Text to the bottom. Or at least below the Red Text. lbohen
I moved the Shape Text layer to the bottom in both programs. The BG yellow colors remained the same but the text became brighter in both.

While that will change the appearance, shouldn't the file look the same in both Publisher and Photo regardless of the layer position? 4 minutes ago, lbohen said: I moved the Shape Text layer to the bottom in both programs. I'm not sure I understand what you think looks different between the two applications, can you clarify that, or provide a screenshot that highlights the area you think is different? If you use a color picker on that area, do you get the same numbers? lbohen
The RGB Hex values (#F90C08) for the background in Photo are the same as Publisher however the BG in Publisher is a shade lighter than in Photo. Shouldn't the BG color be the same in both programs? When I check the yellow BG with Mac's Digital Color Meter I find the Generic RGB Values are: Publisher (R252, G255, B191) Photo (R250, G255, B143).
