ROBERT ALVAREZ Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 having problem with vector brush tool pick a brush that wide at start and ends in pointed width. When I stroke the brush it all the same width same when brush is pointed on both ends and wide in the middle. Also problem when selection the dashed brush. Never see the dash stroke. How to solve brushing what I pick instead of stoke that all the same width? Quote
PixelPest Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Aside from adjusting the Size Variants: at the certain brush you need to enable a "Pressure profile" at the stroke dialog: Quote
ROBERT ALVAREZ Posted July 29, 2019 Author Posted July 29, 2019 select a drawn brush shown with narrow pointed ends and center is wide. on brush - document defaults brush width is 24px, size variance is 83%, opacity variance is 0%. do reset and got thru standard profiles and stroke drawn does not change on canvas still same width from start to end. use design persona. reinstall program? can see the profile on the brush - document defaults dialog window change but not the one drawn in the canvas. using window 7 pro after playing around did manage to see canvas change when profile is change. but do not understand why I can not just pick a brush that has narrow ends and wide center, and just stroke the bush on the canvas and draw it like the selected brush is show in the picture of brushes. instead it is drawn showing an even width from start to end ?? PixelPest Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Did you use a tablet or just a mouse to draw? Quote
ROBERT ALVAREZ Posted July 30, 2019 Author Posted July 30, 2019 have Wacom intudos pt s tablet using this tablet in artrage software the pen works fine can vary the brush in artrage by pressure on the tablet pen from small (thin) to heavy (large) brush stroke Quote
ROBERT ALVAREZ Posted July 30, 2019 Author Posted July 30, 2019 ok , I got it I guess I thought that picking a brush you would not have to worry about pen pressure, just one stroke of even pressure and you would get the brush you see. Thanks for your help pixelpest. Quote
