Words merged with nbsp - hyphenation bug?

Recommended Posts

Dear developers,

I have a problem with hyphenation. I set Minimum prefix and Minimum suffix to 3, and minimum length is 6. When before word is there non-breaking space, then APUB calculated with this, and hyphenation is wrong.

I attached sample screenshot from my project.

Yes, this is my problem. If have a non-breaking space, two words will be one, and hyphenation no exclude these versions, but nbsp; is not a lock, just a space, what cannot hyphenate. (Two words is be treated, but hyphenation need start from second word only)

The nbsp is a kind of lock, though, because it says the two words must be kept together. Or, at least, the last letter of the first word and the first letter of the second word must be kept together.

If it doesn't act that way, then your text "A fekete" would have to move down to the next line as a unit, and you would have wider justification gaps between the other words on that line.

I'm not sure that would be desirable, either.
