Joachim_L
Flipping horizontal or vertical seem not to be a Transform Action although both commands are to find in Layer Transform. If you try to flip e.g. a donut horizontally the Transform Origin is totally ignored. Same behaviour can be found in ADesigner and APhoto. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
walt.farrell
I'm not sure that "ignored" is exactly the right term, @Joachim_L, but I agree that flipping does not seem to take place relative to the transform origin. Here's what I see: 1. After adjusting the Transform Origin, and before using Layer > Transform > Flip Horizontal 2. After: The transform origin flipped with the object, rather than the object flipping around the transform origin. The Guides show that the object itself maintained the same position on the page, and the red dots show that its orientation flipped. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Joachim_L
Sorry for not being precise enough. Flipping happens, but only centered and not respecting other transform origins than center. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
walt.farrell
Yes, that seems to be a correct description of the current behavior. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
