So this is actually a verry simple Job. Maybe to simple for Affinity?

The Kita ask me to hand in 3 Photos of my Child in size 6.5 x 8.5cm. Thats of caurse not a standard Format (that would be tooo simple) but i have affinity.

I start with a Picture in 29.03 x 43.54 cm (Thats 4000 to 6000 px) as given from my digital Camera. First i use resize to get closer to my desired result. I resize to 6.5 x 9.75 cm (keping original layout). So far - so good.

Now i need to cut the image by 1.25 cm in High to get to desired 6.5 to 8.5 cm image. I open cut command, change it to absolute and give the unit "Centimeters". the 6.5 is allready given (since i already resized to this) and i only need to adapt the hight. I enter 8.5  cm - and the trouble starts. The app automatically changes to 1.00 cm. Try again  - same result. I try another high (i.e 6.5 for a cube) but that also dosn't work.

So eighter i do something wrong or cut function is broken - but thats horrible^^. Thats a basice functiuon i need it verry often.....

Thanks for your report, this is a regression bug that our team are aware of and are working hard to fix ASAP.

My sincerest apologies for any inconveniences caused in the meantime. As a workaround you could create a rectangle that measures 6.5cm x 8.5cm and then clip your resized image into this rectangle. I hope this helps.
