(Reposted as originally I put it in the wrong place)

I'm using the current shipping version of Publisher, 1.7.1, on MacOS 10.14.5. I tend to use Publisher full-screen within Spaces.

Several times when closing Publisher (Quit from the File menu), Publisher is leaving full-screen windows open in their own Space. Because Publisher is now closed, these orphaned windows can't be interacted with or closed. The only way I've found of getting rid of them is by logging out.

I've not experienced this problem in Photo or Designer.

If AfPublisher is definitely quit then an orphaned window would be an issue of macOS window management.

Have you tried to reset NVRAM?
When starting your mac hold cmd-opt-P-R pressed for 3 gong tones.

If the issue resists before Serif will react to your post you could try workarounds without logging out/in ...
– restart Finder [via Activity Monitor.app or via Terminal sudo killall finder ]
– quit WindowServer [via Activity Monitor ]

Or, as compromise and last option: Check the macOS preference to forget windows:  System Preferences > General > ...

Hi Thermidor,

Is this still an issue for you, or did Thomaso's suggestions work?

I've been trying this myself, but have been unable to reproduce it unfortunately. If it is still a problem, are you able to capture it on a screen recorder? Even if you can capture it after you've quit, I'd be interested to see the behaviour you are getting.
