5argon
When detaching mask, the graphic is expected to restore to unmasked state immediately. If I detach by dragging to above this is no problem. But if below, the masked residues remains on the screen until I click/drag/zoom around multiple times for it to update to unmasked state. The same happen if using undo to revert from detached mask that was dragged to below. mask_on_off.mov 100000-1.afdesign
Staff Gabe Posted July 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 30, 2019 Hi @5argon, I cannot replicate this. Can you please re-attach the video? It seems that it's failed to upload properly. Thanks, Gabe.
5argon
Here, also it happened when dragged to above as well this time. mask.mov
Staff Gabe Posted July 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 30, 2019 Hmm.... very odd. I could not replicate this even on a 2014 Macbook air. Can you attach a screenshot of your Desigenr preferecnes > Performance window?

Can you attach a screenshot of your Desigenr preferecnes > Performance window? It's on bottom left in the video. Plus I turn off Metal in the vid and it didnt make any difference. Staff Gabe Posted July 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 30, 2019 I don't know how, but I did not see it...Try setting Display>Metal, Hardware acceleration on. Restart the app and try again.
5argon
It's the same even with no metal + restarting. (attached new video) The first video was already with metal. Here's an image from the first video : nometal.mov
Staff MEB Posted August 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 2, 2019 Hi 5argon, Thanks for the file and videos. I replicated the issue here. I believe it's specific to certain graphics chips/configs (integrated Intel only). I'm logging this to be looked at.
