azguy Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I can't seem to find a non pull down menu way of closing a window without closing the program if you have only a single tab open. With multiple tabs open you just click on the close button on the tab. I would like to see a tab with a close button even if there is only one tab open. Quote
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted June 23, 2014 Staff Posted June 23, 2014 Hi, We were thinking about showing the tab bar even with one window open - but it takes away valuable screen real-estate on small widescreen laptops like the MBA. I think we're just forgotten to make "Shift-Command-W" work to close a view - I'll try to get this sorted out. Thanks, Andy. Quote
Staff Andrew Tang Posted June 23, 2014 Staff Posted June 23, 2014 Hi azguy, it's currently Command-W to close the current view/tab. Quote

thomaso Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I agree, I'd appreciate to have it Mac typically: To close the 'last' document window without quitting the application. Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
