Please either commit or cancel the develop operation before switching to another Persona.  How does one CANCEL the develop operation to switch to another Persona?  The CANCEL button seems to do nothing but close the pop-up window.

There is no usable image in a RAW file until it is developed. So if you cancel the development there is nothing for the other Personas to work on & the RAW file closes.

If this is unclear the Raw, actually Affinity Spotlight article may help you understand RAW better.

In that popup, OK will develop the image. Cancel will leave you in the Develop Persona so you can do more work.

Having clicked Cancel in the popup, you can click Develop or Cancel in the Context Toolbar, assuming you have not turned off that Toolbar:image.png.ec3d02658328b950edb53b8211419d19.png

If you have turned it off, then use the menu View > Show Context Toolbar.

But as @R C-R said, if you Cancel development of a RAW file you will have nothing.
