yizzyK Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 I'm familiar with using the break curve workaround for closing gaps in textured curves. This is still problematic when trying to transform/scale your work as the gaps tend to reappear or overextend. Is there an alternative in today's version? Quote
PixelPest Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 I´m not sure about your curve and texture but there´s a property in the Stroke panel called Scale with Object. Is it checked? Cheers yizzyK 1 Quote
yizzyK Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 Oh nice, that solves the scaling problem. But closing gaps is still a no go? I wonder if Serif will ever patch this. Quote
PixelPest Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 What do you mean by closing gaps? You can Merge paths to one object instead of Boolean add or group them. yizzyK 1 Quote
yizzyK Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 If I don't apply any brush textures, it closes out just fine. But when I do... Quote
PixelPest Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Ah I see - it´s not overlapping. I´d break the curve then - and keep in mind that start+end of the texture isn´t seamless in most cases and will be noticeable anyway - like a simple stroke. yizzyK 1 Quote
