emma119 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Please help! I’ve been using affinity designer on my desktop for a few months with no problems, but last week the program started crashing as soon as I opened it and wasn’t able to send error reports. I reinstalled the program and updated all the drivers on my computer, which seemed to fix it for a few days, but now whenever I open designer it’ll freeze after a couple of minutes and doesn’t recover. Publisher and photo have been working fine Quote
Staff Lee D Posted July 23, 2019 Staff Posted July 23, 2019 Depending on the OS you’re using, you will need to navigate to one of the below locations and look for any latest crash reports for Designer. Windows: Open the Run Dialog. and paste in the below and press Enter. Affinity Designer: %APPDATA%\Affinity\Designer\1.0\CrashReports In this folder you will find Crash Reports generated by our apps. Please send us the .dmp file with the latest Created/Modified Date. macOS: Please go to Applications > Utilities and open the Console app. Crash Reports from our apps can be found in the User Reports section. You can Right Click the required Crash Report and select Reveal in Finder. Quote
