AP hangs when "Refine Mask" is selected

Hey malayali,

I'm struggling to reproduce this. I seem to recall something similar happening a long time ago but I cannot reproduce it now. Does it always happen or is it occasional?

Yes, it happens every time!

I think this might be the size of the document and the embedded image. If I add an embedded afphoto file to a 50 x 50 inch @300 dpi document I get the same issue but it only lasts for 20 seconds or so.

That's right, I just tried on a low sized document and there is no issue or hanging apart from the slow Refine selection post process. The document I originally tried was 18" x 24" with 300 DPI. And I had to use Task Manager to close AP. So, will this issue be fixed for the large document?

Well I think something needs to be done as we shouldn't ever expect the user to have to force quit the app =/
