I recently completed a simple A4 letterhead which contained text and a logo. The text was to print in black and logo in silver. I exported it to pdf for print, checking all the settings were correct. However my printer told me it was unusable as the text was pixelated and coming out low res despite me exporting at 300dpi. I have no idea why this happened and it sees to me that AD is not capable of creating files for print. Please can someone explain what I might be doing wrong as I am currently not convinced that I will ever be Abel to send files from AD to the printer which is extremely frustrating as I really like the package and don't want to gibe up on it. This is not the first time this has happened as I also have had other files rejected by another printer as they could not access the layers in eps format. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Possibly you have used a "flatten" export preset. Use "print" or "export" instead.

You mention both PDF and EPS. Just curious: Any specific reason to export as EPS – and not as PDF ?
