user1984 Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Version: 1.7.1.408 The translation for "Mitre" in german "Gehrung" has not enough space because of the translation of "Align" the buttons walk to the right and you are not able to click the most far right button of Join/Ecke - it is overwritten with "Gehrung" as you can see in the screenshots. This bug is in the latest beta version 1.7.2.422 also present/not fixed. original english: translated in german: Quote -- Regards Torsten

Look at the top where the stroke styles are and you can see that the English panel is wider. Mark Oehlschlager Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Clearly the translation problem is not unique to Serif. What's the solution? Are there German abbreviations that could be used? Is it possible to create custom layouts for panels in foreign language versions of the software? Quote

What's the solution? In case of "Mitre" and "Gehrung" the solution is quite simple: Just place the text above its field instead of besides it (as it has been used for a former version): 5 hours ago, Mark Oehlschlager said: Is it possible to create custom layouts for panels in foreign language versions of the software? Adapted label text style is used already in AfPubs stroke panel for the word "Reihenfolge", which is smaller + some way compressed (bit too much, actually:) Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
