Dudeman Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 (edited) Hello, I am trying to design “wpap” images on affinity designer and I am able to do it in work-around ways (multiple shapes on many layers) but I’d like to be able to do it in a similar way to illustrator where I create an outline that I can fill in with color. I will attach two illustrator YouTube videos. I can only seem to select specific shapes instead of areas within lines like in these videos. Is this possible with affinity? Thx!! -Sean Edited July 21, 2019 by Dudeman Uploading links Quote
Dan C Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Hi Dudeman, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately as Affinity Designer doesn't currently have a Live Paint Bucket tool, it's been requested previously and is a feature we'd like to add in a future update. This means that currently the only workaround that I'm aware of is to draw closed shapes (or use boolean operations) and fill the objects using the Colour Studio, apologies! Dudeman 1 Quote
Dudeman Posted July 22, 2019 Author Posted July 22, 2019 Thanks for the reply! loving affinity design so far and it would make my day if that was included in a future update! I’ll use the work around for now Dan C 1 Quote
