Hello,

I am trying to design “wpap” images on affinity designer and I am able to do it in work-around ways (multiple shapes on many layers) but I’d like to be able to do it in a similar way to illustrator where I create an outline that I can fill in with color. I will attach two illustrator YouTube videos. I can only seem to select specific shapes instead of areas within lines like in these videos. Is this possible with affinity? Thx!!

Hi Dudeman,

Welcome to the forums :)

Unfortunately as Affinity Designer doesn't currently have a Live Paint Bucket tool, it's been requested previously and is a feature we'd like to add in a future update.

This means that currently the only workaround that I'm aware of is to draw closed shapes (or use boolean operations) and fill the objects using the Colour Studio, apologies!
