Loek
Hi, After opening a RAW photo shot with my Panasonic LX 100 mk2 I check the lens correction box, but it doesn't recognize the lens. I watched the tutorial about adding lens profiles and added the compact Panasonic file, but still nothing. has anyone else had this problem and can it be solved? Thanks

Hi, It is a compact camera (Panasonic LX100 MKII) with a fixed lens (leica DC Vario-Summilux 1:1.7-2.8/10.9-34 ASPH)
Staff Dan C Posted July 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2019 Apologies, thanks for confirming that! With these fix lensed cameras, RAW support & lens support differ from 'standard' RAW files - as the lens correction data is actually embedded in the RAW file itself. We've recently been provided the spec to open and process the RAW image, however Panasonic have yet to provide us with the necessary information to read the embedded lens correction, meaning we cannot apply any correction to the image at this time, my apologies. We hope to be able to include support for embedded lens correction in the future, however we have no timescale for this currently as it depends on external sources. I hope this helps Tom Lachecki 1 Quote Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave.
