DDG
Placing a white image (png or jpg) into Publisher.. the export to PDF produces a visible shade of the space occupied of the white object. (3% -ish) The PDFs then show these marks visibly on screen and for display.. although I haven't yet seen any shading if sent to print. Staff Pauls Posted July 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2019 Maybe a colour conversion difference between the apps. What are the colour settings in preferences for Publisher ?
mac_heibu
Can’t reproduce this – neither with CMYK nor with RGB. Can you attach the Publisher file and the PDF?

Old Bruce
There is a difference. Extremely slight but it is there. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
