Paul11
When opening a PDF the warning comes up about missing fonts and I understand that Photo can't (yet!) import embedded fonts. If I ignore the invitation to replace missing fonts the PDF file opens and the text fonts appear as they should. How is this possible - has Photo converted the text font to a raster or vector layer to keep the same appearance of the font even if the font is not on the computer? When opening a multi-page PDF in Photo is it possible to separate out and export the individual PDF pages? It looks like each page is put into its own layer and all layers (over 200) are selected by default. Is there a quick way to deselect all layers in the Layers Panel? Many thanks
Staff Lee D Posted July 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2019 Do you have any of the PDF's embedded fonts already installed on your system, once the PDF has been imported how are the those particular text layers displayed on the Layers panel. Do they show as Text or Pixel and using the Text Tool select does it show the font name on the Context toolbar. The pages will show on the Layers panel as Artboards, each of these contains the contents of the pages. When it comes to exporting as a PDF, you'll have a dropdown menu to specify the Area, this being the entire document or individual pages.
