I've just finished transcribing a 68-page medical document dealing with Lyme Disease from Apple Pages to Affinity Publisher. My document has many updates including a slew of complex tables with some screenshots and a number of passages of text. Overall, it looks a lot more presentable, and I was pretty happy with the results.

When I'd finished, I decided that my list of credits at the end would look better formatted into two columns rather than one, since it's a list of names. Because this list came at the bottom of the final text passage, I cut it, changed the size of the text box it was cut from, then created another text box less than half the width of the page beneath it, followed by a second one to the right as my second column. with a text overflow connection between them.

When I pasted the cut text into the first column, it flowed perfectly into the second one. However, when I clicked into that second box to make a change, AP crashed. And it has continued to crash every time I time I click into any text box, or try to select any other page, or tool that can handle text input - even after multiple AP relaunches and Mac restarts.

This leaves me in the horrible position of having spent two weeks working non-stop on this document with absolutely nothing to show for it at the end. There are more than 10,000 people waiting to see this document, and I have zero to show them. This is not a good place to be in. I also have a further 23 similar documents waiting to be migrated from Apple Pages, and this is anything but confidence-inspiring, and decidedly not a good start with Affinity products (I own all three).

I'd be very grateful for help to rescue this corrupt file.

Kind regards,

David.

I can't thank you enough, Pauls. You've helped many thousands of Lyme Disease sufferers the world over, my friend, and you've also saved my bacon!

I'm attaching anonymized Facebook screenshots posted by two of our countless successes who used previous slower versions of this protocol, which I developed to cure my own Lyme. We are a non-profit global group, and our scientific, medical, and development teams are all volunteer professionals.

Lyme OSPs are Outer Surface Proteins responsible for Chronic Non-ABX Responsive Lyme.

Thank you again.

Kindest regards,

David.
