I believe you want to remove the white background from the eps logo. Is that correct? [EDITED] You cannot edit embedded documents directly on a document (you probably dragged the logo from the Finder or used the Place Image tool to insert it in the document). You have to open the eps logo in a new document window (double-click the embedded document to do this) and made the changes there (uncheck Transparent background from the Document Setup). Tens de activar a opção Transparent background para o remover. Já editei a minha resposta anterior para evitar confusões.
