dangerous2a Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Hello, I have used Draw plus , Page plus and Photo plus for many years, and eventually bought a copy of Affinity publisher. I then went the whole hog and bought Designer and Photo as well. They come with some free content but I cannot get Palettes to load in Designer. I am running Windows 7 64 pro by the way. The Import Pallette / Add System Pallete... described below seems to be missing: To install Affinity Swatches Palettes: Within Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer, you will find a Swatches Panel (typically at the top right-hand side of your workspace). To import swatches into this panel: From the dropdown menu to the right, choose Import Palette. Next, choose if you want to import your palette as a Application Palette (a palette saved within Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo—these palettes are available to any Affinity Designer or Photo document), a System Palette (palette saved to your operating system) or an Document Palette (palette saved within your current document). Locate the .afpalette you want to import and click Open. Only Document or Application Palettes are available in the drop down list of the Swatches list. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Quote
Dan C Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Hi dangerous2a Apologies for the confusion here, System Palettes are only available on MacOS, as this is a feature of MacOS that we simply 'piggyback'. For Windows PC's I recommend installing the Palettes as Application Palettes into each Affinity app. I hope this helps! Quote
