AlanPickup
Really good effects. Wold you mind sharing which program you used or combination of multiple?. I very much like the perspective on the letters moving out from the centre, was that achieved by using shadow effects on each letter individually or is there a way of doing this on multiple letters. This would be good advice on techniques for those of us who may be novices on creating effects but familiar with DTP and using programs like PagePlus and Publisher. MichaelMeeuwissen
It’s all done in affinity designer on the iPad Pro. The letters are a combination of shapes . First type the word , duplicate it and downsize it a little from the center then connect them with the pen tool , snapping enabled . Effects are made with shapes , blending modes and Gaussian blur . Smoke effect is created with custom made vector brush . You can create your own brushes with almost everything.
AlanPickup
Thanks Michael I had been looking at trying to do it with the outer shadow effect on the text converted to curves and then altering the offset and angle, but could not get the 3D tapering on the side view of the letters, obviously trying to do it too simple, as per below using colour to emphasize Quote Alan Pickup Windows 11 Home all Affinity suite of Apps PC and Gigabyte Laptop 16gb Ram and Nvidia GTX1660 Super on each.
