Design and Graphics

Good morning all,

I'm a graphic and web designer based in Washington, DC. I started when I was really young but only in the past few years have started getting anywhere near what I'd call a professional level. My degree is in political science with a minor in theatre (!) but computers haven't ever been a mystery for me.

I currently am on a 2006 Macbook Pro using Photoshop/Dreamweaver (though I usually hand-code my HTML & CSS, I'm a bit of a snob that way). I have Master Suite so I sometimes play in the other bits of it. My web/graphic design kit also includes a small-ish Wacom tablet and a couple of WD MyPassport external drives. Oh, and Dropbox saves my life.

I'm starting to plan my move from the political/media/press side of things into more design work, and I'm always interested in hearing from other design-types.
