OrlandoMergal
I would like to use my Epson Perfection V500 Scanner with Affinity Photo on my iMac 27 computer running Mac OS Sierra. Will this work? I found a string on Google stating that Twain drivers wouldn't work with Affinity Photo because they are 32 bit. Is this true? If it is I think it's a lame excuse because PhotoShop CC 2019 is 64 bits and the Twain driver works fine. If it isn't true how do I get it to work. Second, I would like to use a Canon Application called “Canon Print Studio Pro” that drives my Canon PIXMA Pro 100 printer. This application acts as a driver and appears in the “Automate” menu in Photoshop. I can't find such a menu in Affinity Photo. Finally, will the Xrite Color Checker Passport ever be compatible with Affinity Photo? I would have hoped to abandon Photoshop altogether by now and move to Affinity Photo. But as I've tried to work with it I keep finding incompatibilities. What's the story here?

Is this true? Only on Windows. Most scanner manufacturers only make a 32-bit TWAIN interface, and as our apps are 64-bit they can't talk to it. However, as you said you are running a Mac, this won't affect you.
OrlandoMergal
So if it won't affect me, how do I get my scanner to work directly with Affinity Photo? And how about my other two concerns? These are all basic functions that Photoshop has had for years and I can't say goodbye to Photoshop until Affinity has them.
