nomi02118 Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Yesterday I had to resize a document in Publisher for a client and thought it would be the same as Photo and Designer... simply go to "resize document" but I couldn't find that. I had make a new document and copy and paste the info to that. Seems like I am missing something. Quote

If you are already in a document you don't have access to those settings. The closest is file/document setup and this is all you get. I don't see a layout page setup button anywhere and it wasn't listed in a search I did. like I said I might just be missing something that's right in my face. Quote
nomi02118 Posted July 17, 2019 Author Posted July 17, 2019 I may found it, you have to go to the master page, right click and select spread properties. That seems to be where its hidden! Fixx 1 Quote
v_kyr Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 There should also be a menu entry for that under the bottom "File > Layout ..." menu, don't know how they named that menu entry in english. kazrbutler Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Have you looked in Spread Setup? You can change page sizes using the options there. Look under File>Spread Setup, or click on the Spread Setup button just above the Pages and Assets panel. Quote
nomi02118 Posted July 17, 2019 Author Posted July 17, 2019 Thanks guys, i posted that just now. I was confused because i was trying to use the way it is done in the other programs as they are so close in interface. Quote
Fixx Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 There is no Layout page setup button, but there is Spread Setup button/command (File menu). Which adjusts only one spread at the time. Seems only way to change all pages is to select them in Pages panel and do right button menu command "Spread Properties.." Quote
kazrbutler Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I resized a document a week or so ago when playing around with a layout. I'm pretty certain I adjusted the master pages sizing rather than the individual pages, as I needed to adjust them anyway for the layout. Most of what I am working on for that document is still a base layout, with very little content except what is included on the master pages, so memory is probably correct. Quote

kazrbutler Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Yes, and it will also work on the masterpages. So it was my memory that was at issue, as I spent most of my time adjusting items on the master pages once I'd changed the page sizes. Quote
