cheshiredesigner
Just bought Affinity Designer and am really pleased after an hour but wondered if there was a way to drag the edges between nodes instead of it turning straight edge in to a curve when i try? I'm using the node tool assuming it would work similar to the white arrow in Illustrator. Staff MEB Posted June 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 10, 2015 Hi cheshiredesigner, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, the Node tool will not work that way. You can however select the two nodes at the end of a segment (drag a marquee around the two, or press and hold ⇧ (shift) and click on each node) and drag them with the Node tool. cheshiredesigner
Hi Meb and thanks for the welcome and quick reply. Just need to retrain myself to stop trying to do that then! It would be a handy function to have though for speed. Staff Ben Posted June 11, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 11, 2015 These are improvements that we have already considered, and will try out soon. We've identified a number of other improvements for the Node tool.
