cindydude
We would like to send customers a PDF package, but we do not want to allow anyone edit the file if they opened it in a design software. Is there anyway to select "non-editable" or "merge all layers" on export? Thanks!
Fixx
Not really with Affinity tools. You need to use other software to password protect the PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is the first choice, there are also free online tools like https://foxyutils.com/protectpdf/
R C-R
You could use "Merge Visible" to create a new layer. With that layer selected, from File > Export > PDF choose "Selection without background." That should create a single layer PDF, but of course that layer could be edited. IanSG
If you export with the flatten option the pages will be rasterised. That wouldn't stop someone overlaying their own content on top though. Quote AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
